The avid techies that have been formed from this generation are developing their own knowledge daily. As adults and educators the importance to learn how to integrate the skills of this generation is pivotal.
Follow this link to an interesting video that depicts this message well. Play the video "Dive Into the Future" video, right on the home page at the top. At the 3:32 mark there is a comment that I didn't agree with however.
A father makes a comment regarding his child's ability to work through the learning of technology. He states that he would just "step back and let his child go to it." I don't feel that this is the proper way to educate our children. We need to show kids they they can be the teachers to us and that learning is a continuous part of life.
